The San Joaquin Office of Emergency Services (OES) leads emergency management efforts for the county, providing preparedness programs, disaster response coordination, community recovery support, mitigation planning, public information dissemination, multi-agency collaboration, and grant management.
Problem
In June 2024, Solutions by Design was contracted to design, develop, and install a comprehensive visual operations system. The goal was to enhance situational awareness through a large-format video wall capable of displaying live weather feeds, drone footage, surveillance inputs, dashboards, and video conferencing.
Solution
Solutions by Design delivered an integrated visual communication system including a 16' x 5' video wall, two mirrored content displays, advanced sound integration, and off-board equipment installation within the IDF for a clean and maintainable setup.
